The Sakurada Club Tokyo Tennis College, a pioneer in junior athlete development in Japan’s tennis world, will see its 40th anniversary in 2020.
Now, together with the dawn of the new Reiwa era on May 1, 2019, OB and OG volunteers have launched the SWCS PROJECT.
“ Smash your full potential. ” Believe in the great possibilities that lie beyond the challenges we face. Let's begin our project with faith in these words.
Backed up by the large number of top-class junior players it has created with its junior development programs, and along with its many other achievements and long history, the SWCS PROJECT aims to support the junior athletes who dream and challenge themselves to become the ‘ World’s number 1 ’.
We sincerely ask for everyone’s support and cooperation so that this endeavour can be further expanded.

Here at the Jindaiji Temple, surrounded by great nature, the “ Sakurada Club Tokyo Tennis College ” has fostered its members’ independent thinking skills and raised them to have incredible creativity based on the concept that the personalities and determination of our junior players should be respected and nurtured. Development is the accumulation of all things experienced in each and every day and the interactions and experiences that are made with many different people help grow and develop individuals.
In order to achieve this, we believe that it is important to lead the development of our junior players and prepare a better environment for them so that they are able to more actively challenge themselves.
The SWCS PROJECT will continue to raise its members to become the next generation of internationally active tennis players who look towards the future and have inherited our unchanging philosophy and spirit.
